Robert S. Kapust, O.D.

Dr. Kapust is California licensed optometrist who has practiced in the South Bay since 1977. He is board certified to diagnose, treat, and manage diseases of the eye. He is a graduate (1977) of the highly regarded Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton. Dr. Kapust has a special interest and 30 years of experience in vision improvement, including vision therapy, the exciting science of Orthokeratology (Corneal Reshaping Technique).He is certified in Refractive Surgery (LASIK) and has been working with Lasik patients since 1994 and has been involved with all the new advances in the refractive surgery field including the new implantable lenses for highly nearsighted individuals. He is also interested in vocational vision, especially the impact of computer use on vision.

He is a member of the California Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association and the South Bay Optometric Society. He is on the Board of Directors of the South Bay Optometric Society and TLC Laser Center in Torrance.

Cheryl Farrell

Cheryl Farrell has been practicing in the Optometric field as a Certified Paraoptometric Technician(CPOT) for the past 30 years. Her contributions range from managing operations to assisting patients with frame selections. Her communication skills are second to none and has an expertise in fitting patients with eyewear that is perfect for each of their personal needs.

Cheryl began working with Dr Kapust in Aug 2006. She has played a key role in the practice with her charming personality and charismatic energy. She offers a personal touch to every patient's experience that could not be matched by anyone else. Dr.Kapust and his patients are very happy and lucky to have found such a knowledgeable and experienced optometric technician to offer her own touch to the practice.

Cheryl Farrell is a graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry where she received her paraoptometric training.

Ashley Quin

Ashley Quin has been a part-time assistant since Jan 2006. She has the ability to pretest patients and perform excellent receptionist skills along with doing our lab work. She is very friendly and efficient: a perfect person to have in the practice. Ashley is currently attending Cal State Long Beach and working towards a degree in Communications.

Marisa Kapust

Marisa Kapust has been working with her Father on a part-time basis since middle school. She has developed wonderful skills over the years. It will be will be a sad time for the practice and her dad when she attends Law School in 2009 after graduating from UCLA with honors and Cum Laude.

Teresa McCormick

Teresa McCormick is our newest assistant and has been working with us since Sept. 2008. She has been a valuable addition and we appreciate her enthusiasm and flexibility with her support for any and all our needs in the office.
