Dr. Robert Kapust Optometrist

Critical ages for children to be examined are 6-18 months and again at age 3, to see if eyes and vision are developing normally. The next exam is before first grade to assess visual readiness and in time for preventive care for susceptible children, and third grade when many children’s vision begins to deteriorate or first impedes learning. Don't hesitate to call with any qustions or concerns you have regarding your children's vision.

  • Adult Care
  • We try to keep vision at its peak as changes gradually incur over the years. Not just lenses, but other recommendations can make seeing and life much easier. Bifocal wearers will love the new ultra-light, no line lenses.
  • Eye Disease
  • Dr. Kapust is certified to detect and to treat eye diseases with a variety of medications and can perform certain surgical techniques on the front part of the eye.
  • Learning-Related Vision Problems
  • School is 80% visual. Slow focusing, restricted eye-aiming, teaming and movements, even visual/perceptual difficulties respond to vision enhancement training and learning lenses. Both children and adults can have these problems.
  • Computer Vision Problems
  • 70% of computer users have visual complaints. Headaches, blurry vision and deteriorating vision are common signs of problems that may require unique lenses, coatings or vision enhancement.
